Product:
In table groups, you will be creating a slide show.
1. Opening statement about the importance of your topic. For example, it could be an appropriate quote which
you explain.
2. Slides explaining various aspects of your topic ( 5-7 “body” slides)
3. Draw a conclusion/consequence
4. Sources (citations) slide
5. Last slide with names, contributions
The purpose of this is so that I can evaluate the contribution of each member of the group. Some members may
not earn as many points as others if they don’t do their fair share. If someone in your group doesn’t do any
work, just put the name without any work after it.
Example:
Jane Smith: text and graphics for slides 3, 4, 5, 7, 8
John Doe:
Ben Franklin: edited/constructed presentation, imbedded music/sounds, text and graphic slide 1, 6
Dorothy Lamour: text and graphics slide 2, handout and quiz
Requirements for each slide:
 must have a relevant graphic (picture, chart, other)
 a maximum of 3 short sentences
 must be numbered in the lower right corner so that I can tell who did what
 each person must present his/her own slide(s). If all you do is read the sentences on the slide, you will not
receive full credit.
Paperwork:
Each group must create a handout that will be emailed to me. I will create class sets so that each student may take
notes during the presentation.
You must submit 5 potential quiz questions (True/False or multiple choice), with the answers. I may use all or none
of your questions.
Each group member needs to create notes and quiz questions for slides s/he is doing. One person coordinates the
notes and quiz questions and emails them to me. Remember to label the notes/quiz questions with all your names
and your period.
