prompted by a sudden emotional insight similar to the inspiration she gets at
church. What details so far have shed light on Mama’s decision making process?
Be a detective and search the story for clues that foreshadow Mama’s decision
about the quilts. Use the following questions to help you find clues, and then
briefly summarize each one. (8-10 clues)
