Executive summary
This report is based on Infiniti which is a worldwide real estate & property business resource group. One of
the largest company which has more than 40 projects. Its services are admired by its ultimate customers all
over the Pakistan. I selected Infiniti for MBA internship program because Infiniti is a very unique company
adopting a unique concept “one stop solutions” and its a fast growing company these days. Being a student
who wants to make a mark in information technology field, I found the best place to gain practical
understanding was to do internship in Infiniti- The Resource Group. I am proud to work as an internee with
Infiniti and this experience have really polished my professional skills and abilities which will surely help me
in future.
My Internship duration was of almost two months. The absolute guidance and concern of higher
management, perfect working environment with immense cooperation of the staff of all departments
especially the IT department facilitated in making my internship a wonderful learning experience in all
aspects. During my internship I worked in IT, Marketing Department, HR Department I successfully
completed all the task/duties that were assigned to me. Through this internship I learnt more about the IT
department of the organization how it works.
Lastly I would say that Infiniti introduces new products and services that took full advantage of new
technologies and I hope that it will tend to do so in the coming future and provide stiff competition to any
challenger that poses a threat to Infiniti.

1. Overview of the organization
Brief history:Infiniti is working from 2008. It is located in F-7/2 Islamabad. Its registration IPO is still in process. First it
was working on small ground and now it has its own building and made a big setup for office work. Owner
of the company was running many businesses so he put all of his businesses in one company named Infiniti.
So it is the mother company and It has strategic partners which are working together on other different
projects. Infiniti is the company adopted the unique concept of one stop solutions. It is dealing with not
only Real Estate but it deals with interior designing, Manpower, Events, Logistics, Maintenance, IT solutions
along with hospitality (Rock Bistro) and 2F2F Formula Karting Islamabad.
Nature of the Organization and business volume:
Infiniti, the resource group is a worldwide real estate & property business, it build its reputation on its
expertise in delivering essential support services for its clients.
Infiniti has experts working in different sectors including Land & Property, Farming, Food and Agriculture,
Arms and Ammunition, IT Solutions and many more.
Infiniti prides itself as one of the leaders in the acquisition and liquidation of real estate mainly dealing in
Bahria Enclave, DHA & exclusively Gwadar. Infiniti assist customers to meet their demands by giving them
the best possible offers in the No Hassel Way. Infiniti aspires to offer customers with the most reliable
investment opportunities. To attain customer’s desired resources switch on to Network with Infiniti

Infiniti is dealing with many running projects some of them have been completed. It has dealt with more
than 40 projects. Its size is too huge that it wasn’t enough time to know this organization completely within
only two months.
If I start writing about all of its project then it wouldn’t be possible for me. Infiniti’s large projects are Rock
Bistro Terrace, Rock Bistro Garden, Rock Bistro “simply not dining”, 2F2F Formula Karting Pakistan,
Laguardia (stock exchange), crimson group. These are the most famous projects.
Competitors:
Infiniti The Resource Group has a great advantage that there is no company I have seen which has on stop
solution, so there are no competitors as a whole against the company but still there are competitors which
are trying to compete Infiniti partially.
Infiniti is dealing with Real Estate so there are many companies which are dealing with it

The Organizational Management Analysis process examines culture and provides insights to the alignment
of management groups with the Infiniti’s goals and objectives. This information is used to analyze the
human capital aspects associated with an organization's long term strategic objectives.
The management of the organization has big influence on the decisions of the organization give marketing
management priority to decide the public related decisions.
Infiniti’s HR manager tries to create good communication skills among employees and employer and among
department heads. Infiniti is facing lack of correspondence among department heads.
Infiniti is mainly managed by HR, Operations manager and CEO’s personal and official overall finance
managers all the problems are discussed with managers only they do not involved lower level management
only upper level management are allowed to make decisions and make changes in any process.

1. Training program
I did my internship from Infiniti the resource group located at F-7, Islamabad. I started my internship on 612-2014 and it ended on 24-01-2014. During my internship, I worked in four different departments of
organization. I worked three weeks in IT department, one week in HR department, one week in accounts
department one week in marketing department. Every department has different heads. This internship
program was very helpful in my due course and was a very good professional experience because of this
internship report I understand the culture of the resource group experience the marketing strategies used
by the organization and to understand the different customers and how to deal with them.

I did my assigned tasks by time. Following duties were assigned to me in different departments.
First week of internship:
I spent my first week in IT department. Coordinator introduced me to the colleagues of IT department.
Employees of this department are very helpful and they helped me in learning windows installation of xp
and 7 and necessary installation of antivirus. I learnt printer, software and drivers installation.




Human Resource is a main pillar of any company. My second week was in Human Resource department.
There I did following tasks. He told me how to keep balance between employees and employer.

I made different kind of forms like employees evaluation form, IT work order form etc
How to conduct interviews
I and Mr. Ahmed conducted the interviews and I learnt which things are important while taking

HR manager told me how to achieve the organization’s mission while balancing the employee’s and
employer’s relationship.
Third week in Accounting Department:

After second week I was transferred to accounts department. They use MS excel frequently for routine and
daily computing. In accounts department they teach me to enter general voucher in the software and gave
me work of entering the vouchers in the software. In accounts department I did following tasks and
Accountant was very happy and satisfy with my performance and he gave me following tasks and I achieved
the tasks successfully.








In marketing department I learnt many things. Infiniti’s marketing department’s more focus is on internet
marketing. In marketing department I learnt following things. Marketing department made facebook pages
of Infiniti, Rock Bistro “simply not dinning”, 2f2f karting club Islamabad. And they post letters to companies
inside there are discounted voucher books and broachers. I learnt how to manage customers and how to
get 360 degree feedbacks from them and fulfill their requirements.

Fifth to eighth week in IT Department:
Infiniti is expanding its business and along with expansion of business it needs more space for office. IT
department room was made and it was shifted from ground to 1 st floor of the main office. So After
completing the work I again shifted in IT department. In new IT room I did work by myself and felt
happiness by participating. I made LAN cables and punched kronne, I fixed IO in patch panel and fixed and
punched the wires in patch panel. I used tester and change all missing connectors of LAN. I made RJ45 and
RJ11 plugs myself.
In INFINITI local area networks are built with relatively inexpensive hardware such as Ethernet cables,
network adapters, and hubs. Wireless LAN and other more advanced LAN hardware options also exist.
In IT department I learnt following things.

In Infiniti The Resource Group there is team of five employees working in IT department which is
responsible for all IT related problems and their solutions.
The Head of MIS department control all staff members. There are four people support including 1
Coordinator which is responsible for giving answers to Head of IT Department. And coordinator is
also doing IT officer’s duties, IT assistant is also performing double duties. He also work for
accounting issues in IT department. Electricians are responsible for repairing of LED, microwave
ovens, geezer, heaters, and all issues regarding electricity.

designing and software applications, telephone exchange and any issue regarding internet

electricity failure this department is responsible for that. It is also responsible for providing outlook
settings, antivirus and firewall by using ISA in MS servers.
Maintain the necessary service level for response to user and system issues. Maintain a secure
technology environment with a high availability necessary for Public Safety operations and disaster
considerations. Maintain and implement best practices while identifying technology solutions that
streamline business practices.
IT is also responsible for issuing laptops, Usb, laptop batteries, wireless connectors, laptop chargers,
RAMS etc.

kitchen, restaurants, printers, lights, electricity failure telephones extensions.
Providing Internet access:
IT department provide access to outside networks like on VPN and internet to the authorized
persons Internet access is controlled by software called Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration
Server (ISA). No unauthorized person can get access to internet.
Installation and control over DVRs:
IT department is responsible for installation of all security cams in Digital Video Recorder. It has
control over the whole office including Infiniti’s strategic partners like Crimson group and Rock
Bistro “simply not dining”.
Network Services:
IT department provide Network connectivity for all employees who used to work on the same
software and they can share their files and folders to combine their work on same projects and files.

This include TCP/IP and upgrading of IP version from Ipv4 to IPV 6 and all other protocols and
installation of software’s which work on LAN.
Backup and recovery tasks:
IT department is responsible for taking backups and recovery of damage,loosed data which can save
employees from a big tension, and they can work calmly with better motivation.
Installation/maintenance of LAN related active equipments:
Installation of LAN and WAN based equipments like IP and IP based printers and all other LAN
related active equipments.
Configuration of LAN/WAN routers and switches:
Configuration of LAN and WAN routers and switches giving them IPS, DNS and setting firewalls in
routers for security is responsibility of the IT department.
Performance parameters:
IT department continuously monitor all the equipments servers, routers, pc performance and
monitor them so they will be in fully working condition.

Operating system level trouble-shooting:
Installation of windows, drivers, software including Ms Office, IDM, winrar, etc and trouble shoot
the windows XP ,7 and windows 8 is done by the IT department.
System and software upgrades:
IT department upgrade the old, damaged and slow systems with the latest available systems for the
better performance of the system. So that employees can save their precious time and it reduce
irritation and this way they can perform their job efficiently.
IT departments Support to other departments:
IT support to Accounts Department:
IT department support account department in managing all the records of transactions. Accounts
department use an additional software to perform its responsibilities and IT department provide
that software named CeeSoft Accounting System according to the need of accounts department and
provide them access to the database server in which all the data is safe. Both departments work
together for making accounts department work smooth efficient and by the help of IT in INFINITI
accounts department find it really easy to enter all record quickly and retrieve any specific record at
very fast speed and accurately.
IT support to Marketing Department:
In Infiniti marketing Department has taken the responsibilities of printings so it is also dependable
on IT department if it face any issues regarding printers etc. Marketing Department is totally
dependent on Internet because its more focus is on internet marketing so IT provide them to stay in
touch with buyers and consumers of market.
IT support to HR department:
Whenever HR manager wants to communicate with all employees or needs to give important
notifications he used to mail them and IT department provides email services for all employees.

PART THREE
1. Critical analysis:
Though Infiniti is doing good. If we evaluate the organization’s current strategies with the organization
vision and mission statement then I would say that marketing plans are required to be design keeping in
mind the strategic vision of the organization that will help the organization to achieve its goals.
When there is a work load it has to face managerial issues which is a big lap for any organization, so it
should overcome its managerial issues. Infiniti is so much diversified it should focus on the most basic
products on which it can earn more by putting less time and efforts. There are some communication
gaps between employees which needs to be improve. Infiniti doesn’t give importance to reward system
which is a lack of motivational power for employees. I have spent whole month of Rabi-ul-Awal and in
this full month there was no religious activity was done it should focus on religious activities to attain
spiritual power of employees. Company is not been able to update its website. Besides I have observed
that some of its department are over employed which increases the expenses of company and some
departments like marketing and IT department company should hire more employees to attain certain
goals.

Infiniti is the authorized dealer of Bahria Town so it has this advantage too. So Infiniti is not suffering high
bargaining power of customers.

The company cannot do backward integration because of high cost of property and Infiniti is dealing with
all CDA sector of Islamabad, DHA and Bahria Town. There is limited no of suppliers, So the bargaining power
of suppliers is high for the company.

Threat of new entrants is very effective for Infiniti because till now Infiniti is not facing any competitor as a
whole. If any one come with the same concept then it would be a high threat for company. It would be easy
for new entrant to enter in market there are few economies of scale in place and they can weaken
company’s position. But If a company has strong and durable barriers to entry, then it can preserve a
favorable position and take fair advantage of it.
The threat of substitute products
This is affected by the ability of customers to find a different way of doing what you do – for example, if you
supply a unique software product that automates an important process, people may substitute by doing
the process manually or by outsourcing it. If substitution is easy and substitution is viable, then this
weakens your power. But in Infiniti’s case it has also adopted unique concept of one stop solution so people
can avail that by putting all of their tensions to the company.
Infiniti is availing the opportunity that it has not any competitor as a whole so there is a threat of substitute
product partially.

During my internship in Infiniti Human Resource, IT, Marketing, and accounts department. The major focus
was on IT department I learnt windows installation, LAN WAN ISA installation Drivers and other software
and troubleshooting etc.
I analysis environment of company. I observed its external and internal environment. The marketing team
of Infiniti is not so strong. Marketing department is still trying to do its best by promotional campaigns.
Accounting Department is doing very good and IT department is the major supporting department who
help all the departments in all their process for maintaining digital database and providing quick access to
safe data.
Infiniti is a fast growing company and soon will enter in the stars.
The Internal factor evaluation (IFE) matrix of Infiniti tells us the story of internal strength and weakness and
the total score of Internal evaluation matrix of 3.16 which indicate a very strong internal position.
Infiniti is having a very unique idea of one stop solutions so competitors exist partially. BCG matrix showed
us that Infiniti falls under Question marks. That is a good sign that in future it will be considered among
stars.
I learn a lot of things while doing internship like networking, database, hardware and software
troubleshooting and also get time to enhance my communication skills which was not good before. I got

Infiniti should follow some given recommendations


Infiniti should focus on management issues so it can overcome its managerial issues.
People are not well informed about Infiniti just because of be short of advertisements. So they
better take up the new promotional door to door activities like other companies to enhance the
services/products. They must use electronic media to create strong brand recognition because the
marketing strategies they are making are insufficient to touch high market.


It should update the website time by time.
Infiniti needs to hire more staff in some departments specially in marketing department to meet the
profound requirements like Marketing.

Infiniti should pay special attention towards its employee by introducing plans like training,
Compensation and benefits plans, reward system to increase their motivation.
