Originates from individuals’ behavior and
their
interactions
with
their
surroundings.

What is MACRO
LEVEL CONFLICT?
Involves two
or
more
groups,
organizations.
Occurs in societal
level. It focuses
more upon social
structure,
social
processes
amd
problems, and their
interrelationships.
Micro
foundations
may lead to
macro-level
conflict.
In competitive situations, the two or more parties
each have mutually inconsistent goals, so that when
either party tries to reach their goal it will
undermine the attempts of the other to reach
theirs. Therefore, competitive situations will by
their nature cause conflict.
