In competitions, students must not only understand the facts of and the social, political or ethical principles involved in the case, but most also provide an effective argument on how to resolve the case. Participation in Ethics Bowl develops skills necessary to both academic and career success. The session will discuss how to involve students in Ethics Bowl both as an extracurricular and classroom activity. It will discuss the common failings of writing prompts and how to address these problems in a way that helps students understand the assignments.
