Course Development Considerations Courses generally have a 120 hour minimum (40 and 280-hour maximum time requirement. Program must be comprised of at least 4 - 120 hour courses. (Two 60 hr. courses = One 120 hr.) Course Development Considerations Capstone can be used for both in-school and out of school learning experiences. (Not one of the 4). Old test forms available for Seniors. Students are required to test in each course enrolled. During the transition to courses concentrators may be reported with as few as 3 tests with no penalty. Career Technical Education Testing Old test forms and industry certification exams phase out after first year of EOC course availability. Field testing continues until enough students participate. Career Technical Education Testing Each student’s cutoff score is an average of their EOC tests. Report Not Competent, Competent, Advanced. Other teachers in the same pathway may monitor. CTE Tests for Pre-testing If a district uses ODE-approved vendor tests in the way the vendor prescribes and receives a student growth report with a teacher effectiveness rating, they are required to use the data as part of OTES.
