Potential Questions Regarding CCP
How do students register for
CCP?
• Interested students will
learn about the CCP
program, eligibility
requirements and
registering for the program
by attending a mandatory
information session and
pick up enrollment
package.
If a CCP student is not
succeeding in his/her class or not
attending class, is there a way
that the Dean of that particular
school can be notified?
• Students are protected
under FERPA. Wake Tech
cannot release certain
student information
(including attendance)
without the student’s
consent. Students’ Wake
Tech transcripts are sent to
the school Principal at the
end of each semester.
Students also have access
to their grades.
Potential Questions Regarding CCP
• Does the instructors know if they have a CCP
student in their class who is a WCPSS
student? In other words, do they know if they
are non WCPSS students or regular students?
– Instructors may not know they have a CCP
student in their class; typically they do not know
CCP students from “regular” Wake Tech students.
