Directions: Answer these questions on a separate sheet of paper. Use your notes, textbook, or Barron’s to answer the questions. The assignment is due on Wednesday. If the assignment is not completed in class, it must be completed at home. Explain Feature analysis and distinguish between Bottom – Up and Top – Down processing. 6. Gestalt Psychology emerged out of Germany in the early part of the 20th Century. Gestalt Psychology demonstrated that the whole can be greater than the sum of the parts. Identify and describe each of the Gestalt principles concerning perception (there are 7 ) 7. Describe the Binocular and Monocular cues. 8. Identify and discuss the types of Pictoral Depth. 9. Describe Visual Illusion and provide an example.
