In 1990, Erik received his M.S. degree from Cornell University working under Dr. Thomas Henick-Kling. He then worked as an Enologist at Simi Winery and since 1993 has worked as a Winemaker at Chateau St. Michelle, where he is responsible for all white wine production and the Artist Series Meritage Red Wine.
