What Is Hope?
Hope Is A Joyful Expectation Of Good Things To Come…
Hope Is Patiently Waiting On The Lord!
I wait for the LORD, my soul does wait, and in His word do I hope.
(Psalms 130:5 NASB)

What Sustains My Hope Is Faith In His Word, His Promise!
So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.
(Romans 10:17 NASB)
Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of
things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1 NASB)
1. HOPE IS NOT WISHFUL THINKING
The LORD looks from heaven; He sees all the sons of men; from
His dwelling place He looks out on all the inhabitants of the earth,
He who fashions the hearts of them all, He who understands all
their works. The king is not saved by a mighty army; a warrior is
not delivered by great strength. A horse is a false hope for victory;
Nor does it deliver anyone by its great strength. Behold, the eye of
the LORD is on those who fear Him, on those who hope for His
lovingkindness. To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them
alive in famine. Our soul waits for the LORD;
He is our help and our shield. For our heart rejoices in Him,
because we trust in His holy name. Let Thy lovingkindness, O
LORD, be upon us, according as we have hoped in Thee.
(Psalms 33:13-22 NASB)
2. HOPE IS NOT A COINCIDENCE

Hope Is Jesus Christ!
Therefore, gird your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your
hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the
revelation of Jesus Christ. (1 Peter 1:13 NASB)

Hope Gives Me Strength
My soul, wait in silence for God only, for my hope is from Him. He
only is my rock and my salvation, my stronghold; I shall not be
shaken. (Psalms 62:6 NASB)
3. HOPE IS NOT FALSE SECURITY
And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing
that tribulation brings about perseverance; and perseverance,
proven character; and proven character, hope; and hope does not
disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within
our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
(Romans 5:3-5 NASB)
The hope of the righteous is gladness… (Proverbs 10:28 NASB)
My Hope Is Fixed On Nothing Less Than Jesus Christ And
Righteousness!
