1.1 Background
Echo was awarded to design and develop the JMC Website.
The award was based on the technical and financial proposal; where echo proposed to develop and
design a new website using EchoBus CMS which is based on .Net Framework 3.5 and MS SQL Server
2008.
1.2 About this Document
The purpose of this document is to present a detailed description of the website. It will detail
features, site map, pages, domain names and module structure. This document will be a key input
into the development phase of the project.
1.3 Audience
The audience of this document is the JMC project team as well as the echo team responsible for
implementing the solution.

Echo is proposing to design and develop an English/Arabic user-friendly, scalable website for the
JMC with a back-end content management system that allows JMC non-technical staff to add,
change and delete site contents without manipulating any HTML or scripting code.

The main menu will be show in the header of the website and will be static for all pages inside where
it shows only one level of sub menu on mouse over movement.

There will be a multiple photo galleries where each gallery will contain a number of images when
clicking on a gallery it will expand showing images inside (images may be jpg , gif , png with the
recommendation of jpg . and the recommended size is 2 MB).
2.5.20 ‫االخبار‬
Echo will utilize the out of the box News Module form EchoBus where the news will be shown at the
home page which will display the last 3-5 news, in home one news item will be shown at one time
and each few seconds next news item will be shown.
When clicking at show all the user will be redirected to the news page (will show up to 5 news) as

When clicking on the news the user will be redirected to the news pages with will display data and
one image. The site visitor will not have the ability to make comments on news.
Each news item will have the following information (Arabic and English):





News Image.
News title.
News brief.
News description.
News date.
2.5.21 ‫مواقع ذات صلة‬
This module will display useful links as a list, links will be managed by the site administrator by
adding, updating, and deleting links through CMS easily, each link will open in new page.

This module will display questions as a list, each question when clicked; its answer will appeared
below the question.
FAQs will be managed by the site administrator by adding, updating, and deleting FAQs through CMS
easily.

It will be an information page which can be edited from the CMS.
2.5.24 ‫العطاءات‬
This module will display JMC Tenders in the website by clicking on tenders then all the tenders will
display.

Administrator can add, update and edit tenders which he can display the tender information title in
Arabic and in English, start date and the end date of the tender and update the tender details.
