Friday April 19-Sunday 21 - Plaquemine Locks State Historic Site in Plaquemine, LA will be sponsoring and hosting a
living history/re-enactment event. It is planned for living history demonstrations on Saturday and Sunday as well as
a skirmish on the Mississippi River Levee on Saturday and Sunday. Camping will be on the historic site grounds,
which adjoin the levee. There will be REAL restrooms for our use on the grounds. Unfortunately, since this is a
state property, they will not be able to provide a powder bounty. Am working with the Friends of the Plaquemine
Locks to see if it will be possible to provide a meal and will let everyone know the outcome of this discussion.
Everyone is invited; registration will be through me and an email with the unit and number of people coming will
suffice.
