32nd Annual Bowl For Kid’s Sake Fundraiser

WHAT IS BOWL FOR KIDS’ SAKE? Bowl For Kids' Sake is one of the largest
annual fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Mid-Florida. The funds
raised help make a positive, long-lasting impact on the children in our community.
It’s not just about bowling. It’s about raising money to support our one-toone mentoring programs.
HAVE FUN TO BENEFIT KIDS. Bowl For Kids’ Sake is an easy and fun way to
make a difference in a child’s life, and everyone can get involved as a bowler,
team captain, or a sponsor. It’s a party with a team of friends, family, neighbors or
colleagues.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR TEAM CAPTAINS, BOWLERS & SPONSORS!
As A Team Captain YOU will recruit 3-6 people to bowl with you. Be the contact person and
chief motivator for the team. Collect donations at $25 per person. Anyone wishing to donate
extra for this cause is welcomed and encouraged. Register your team by email
(bfks@bbbsmidflorida.org), by fax (352-375-0319) or contact us at 352-375-2525.
Early registration is recommended and appreciated.
After you have registered your team, you should receive a confirmation of your bowling time
from Big Brothers Big Sisters. If you do not receive this confirmation, please call the office to
confirm.
Give each of your team members a PLEDGE SHEET, ENVELOPE (to collect money) and
BOWLER INSTRUCTIONS. Team members can also encourage their sponsors to donate online
using their credit card at www.bbbsmidflorida.org. Please emphasize to your teammates that
all money should be collected and turned in with the pledge sheet.

Participant Information:
1. Ask your friends, family, and business associates to pledge.
2. As a bowler, use this sheet to sign up as many sponsors as possible.
3. Team Captains call Big Brothers Big Sisters to schedule a time to bowl.
4. Arrive at the Bowling Alley 30 minutes prior to your scheduled bowling
time to sign in. Bring this sheet!
5. Pledges: Please collect all cash received in envelope provided and
properly note on the pledge sheet.

PLEDGE SHEET INFO
Fill out the top portion of the pledge sheet by clearly printing your name, address, email and phone numbers.
Fill out your sponsor’s information.
TOTAL your Pledge Sheet. $25 per person is required to bowl.

REGISTERING TO BOWL
The Team Captain should register the whole team.
GATHERING PLEDGES
Collect money from your sponsors -- either by cash or check, and place in the pledge envelope. This money should be turned in the day you
bowl. Your sponsors also have the option of paying by credit card on our website at www.bbbsmidflorida.org
ALL MONEY SHOULD BE COLLECTED WITH YOUR PLEDGE SHEET! INVOICES WILL NOT BE MAILED.
AT THE Bowling Alley
 Arrive 30 minutes before you are scheduled to bowl. Bring your PLEDGE SHEET, ENVELOPE and the MONEY you have collected from
your sponsors.
