We are also committed to community service and providing social and academic support to our members. It is open to all nursing students at the University of Penn. Dues are $5/year – please see Stephanie! III. Theme for this year will be “Child Health IV. Tea and Talks a. 1 in Fall – speaker and date TBD b. 2 in Spring V. Fundraising a. Bake Sales i. September 24th and 26th (Monday and Wednesday) 1. Baking party Sunday, September 25th – details to come! ii. October 29th and 31st (Halloween-themed) VI. The Nursing School’s Latino Heritage Month celebration will take place October 10th with speakers and food. The presentation, which is focused on HIV in vulnerable populations, will be from 4-5pm with a reception and food to follow from 5-6pm. The Nursing School will also be celebrating Black History Month as well as Pan-Asian culture in the near future– details to come. VIII.
