Call for Papers: Society for the Study of Psychiatry and Culture + Fellowships in Cultural
Psychiatry.
The 2014 SSPC Meeting, which will be held in San Diego from May 15 to 17, 2014, is now open. The
theme of the meeting is TRAUMA, RECOVERY AND CULTURE. The deadline for abstract submission
is September 15, 2013 and the Fellowship is September 16, 2013. For more information,

Anxious Children, Worried Parents / Help your Anxious Clients Workshops
Lynn Lyons is offering workshops on Anxious Children, Worried Parents and Help your Anxious
Clients. It's a topic that all therapists encounter and this training will offer concrete skills as to how to
help clients manage anxiety. The workshops will be held on October 24, 2013 from 7:00 p.m. to
