Taught grade twelve Data Management, grade nine and grade ten Academic Math. I implemented a
program with learning skills being the priority, students were encouraged to take risks and not fear
incorrect responses in a safe learning environment. Students were given Learning Skill checklists to model
the skills that would help them succeed, self-regulate and motivate them to believe in themselves.
Established excellent teacher-student relationships where students could easily ask questions and exceed
their own expectations. Incorporated technology into most lessons, as well as incorporating all learning
styles into each lesson.
Georgetown District High School
Implemented program and taught 2 grade nine academic math, and a grade ten applied math.
Created classroom of rules with students, respect for peers and teachers being the focus. Students were
encouraged to use reason to communicate when rules for fairness in the classroom.
