The Marketing & Communications Internship will provide experience across the different marketing and communication touch points as well as direct contact with some of our key partners.
Internship Description:
We have an opening in our Marketing team for a Fall Marketing and Communications Intern.
We seek students with basic knowledge in Marketing and Communications to help us tell the
Greyston Bakery story and support the sustainable growth of our business.
Key Internship Objectives
Develop Winter and Spring Communication Plan for Greyston Bakery o Present calendar of initiatives , themes and topics
Develop at least three monthly blog pieces. Develop ideas and themes for
Greyston to leverage.
Coordinate at least three events with the Whole Planet Ambassador Program. o In school / In store related events o Kick off relationship between local schools and Greyston Bakery
Support in activation of Holiday campaign through social media, email blast and internet page. o Support in promotion of new Pumpkin Spice Blondie o Support Whole Foods Cookie Box Gift initiative
Support in recruitment of National Volunteers for the Greyston Bakery National
Demo Program.
Requirements:
Completed or enrolled in a undergraduate or graduate degree
program (Business/Communications/ Design )
Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Press
Strong social media skills
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Some experience blogging and developing content for social media groups
Highly creative, organized, detail-oriented, proactive
Positive attitude and outlook
Team oriented, Collaborative
