Class ‘A’ Dress Uniform Measurements The following information should help assist you in taking your measurement to insure a quality fit for yourself and all members in your department. The following information is needed for Men’s Uniforms: Height Weight Years of service Cap size Suit size – Jacket inner sleeve Shirt collar (neck measurement) – sleeve length Trouser waist – trouser inseam Shoe size – width i.e (D,E,2E,3E) The following is the information needed for Women’s Uniforms: Height Weight Years of service Cap size Jacket size – – – – bust measurement waist measurement hip measurement jacket inner sleeve Shirt neck – sleeve length Trouser waist – trouser inseam Shoe size – width i.e. (D,E,2E,3E) Cap Size Measure around the crown of your head in INCHES. Take this number and divide it by PI (~3.14159265). The number you get is your cap size. Pick which number it is closest to in the following list. If you don’t own a suit or sports coat please go to your local Department store and try on a US made Garment. If you don’t have access to a dress jacket or department store. Please measure around broadest part of chest in inches with a cloth tape measure.
