Coen Stainless Steel Grating is available in ready-made fabricated panels to Clients Instructions or in Standard Panels generally 6.1 metre x 1 metre
Stainless materials can be either 304 or 316 grade
Normally stainless gratings are used in: highly corrosive or wet environments on or around machines or machinery
We therefore supply gratings to meet the requirements of the current BS EN ISO 14122.
This specifically requires that gratings shall prevent the passage of a 35mm dia ball.
All Lichtgitter Stainless gratings are therefore 34mm centres of load bars to comply with this.
Stocked sizes are 25×3, and 30×3 in 34/100 pattern
Other patterns ie. 21/100 and 16/100 are available where quantity is sufficient.

Coen offers three types of “Combi-deck” grating to suit the loading requirements.
Type “A” 3mm Durbar with grating bar spacing at 66mm.
Type “B” 3mm Durbar with grating bar spacing at 41mm.
Type “C” 3mm Durbar with grating bar spacing at 30mm

LokWeld Gratings are the latest additions to the Lichtgitter range of flooring products.
Produced by combining traditional pressure locked gratings and an integral welding technique at all cross over joints. Thus forming a strong combination of gratings that can be cut and shaped without risk of bars becoming loose.
Available in ready-made panels to suit your detail drawings or as standard panels 3 metre x1metre panels from stock.

Stock treads Lichtgitter Stock Treads are available as shown with end plate and stair-nosing already welded to give 1000mm tread. The loose end plate can be welded to the tread after cutting to length, matching the weld specification at the fixed end
Stair Nosings
Octopus Nosing - standard nosing is used for all locations where an anti-slip nosing is required. This nosing will be fitted as standard unless specified otherwise. Available in standard stock length of 6 metres or 1000mm lengths
Pyramid Nosing -Welded to all stair-treads as an alternative to the above. Good anti-slip properties. Available in stock lengths of 6 metres or 1000mm lengths Chequer-Plate Nosing
Traditional nosing/sight bar available to treads. Available in 1000mm lengths Ladder Treads
Ladder treads , used as a tread welded between flat or tubular stringers. Can be welded to existing ladders over solid round rungs to improve slip resistance
