This new blend could be named as a thermoplastic natural rubber (TPNR).** Specimen before remolding TPNR after remolding Vulcanized NR after remolding TPNR consisted of 60%NR and 40% PLA ** V. An increase in the NR-g-PMMA content (4, 8 and 12 wt%) increased the modulus at 300% and decreased the strain at break of TPE. The maximum tensile strength was obtained from the 8% NR-g-PMMA. NR-g-PMMA had no effect on the hardness and resilience but it significantly decreased the tension set. The optimal blend composition was 52% NR and 8% NR-gPMMA which provided better mechanical properties than the blend without NR-g-PMMA. 19 The National Innovation Agency Thailand (Grant No. BP33/52, Project No. C49-52) The Faculty of Science Research Fund (Research Assistant ), Prince of Songkla University. 20 Thank you for your attention 21 Results & Discussion C=O MMA C-H C=C NR NR Transmittance [%] PMMA NR-g-PMMA O CO MMA C O C C H 3 C H C H 2 H C C 4000 H C H C 3 2 3500 C H 3000 2500 2000 1500 1000 500 3 Wavenumber (cm-1) Fig 2.
