1. Learning Conditions :
1.1 Trainees:
The number of the Trainees in my lesson will be from 8 Trainees.
The average age of the students will be from 23 to 27 years. Each of them has
a Diploma in Electrical Power Technology, All trainees are studying the
Bachelor Degree, Electrical Engineering Department, Specialty Electric Power
Engineering. There is one student he was works in the Saudi Electricity
Company and now he studies Bachelor Degree. There are not teachers in my
class but all the students now studying the vocational pedagogy. They like to
help each other, so I will using group work to check for securing the learning
progress. At the end of the lesson we can measure the students' understanding.

1.2 Classroom:
The students bring to the classroom Notes, Pens, Pencil, Ruler and Erasers. I
will use five methods in the lesson. The students they know four methods and
I will to use a new method. the new method is mind map. I will use a Projector
to present a PowerPoint presentation and the test board in the experiment.
The Chairs should be organized correctly after end of the lesson, The Lights
should be enough to see and The acclimated in classroom is for the students.
1.3 College:
I will present my lesson on Monday 3 March at 12:50 Pm. The Classroom in
the vocational pedagogy building 8.241. I will need in the Classroom eight
Chairs, Two Whiteboards, projector, computer and test boards. Because, I will
use in this lesson PowerPoint Program to present the Pictures, show video
and explanation. Also I use the test board in the experiment. The Methods in
my lesson which I will to use a : Classroom Conversation, Presentation,
Lecture, Individual Work and Group Work. Because, I think they will deliver
the knowledge of this lesson to the audience in a good way.
I have activities in my lesson. So I will keep the student busy and active.

Single logic gates:
In this lesson we will talk about construction features, types and theory of
operation of logic gates, also the construction for logic gates. Four steps logic
gates in this from this lesson we will talk about the symbol, Boolean algebra,
truth table, and electrical-circuit logic gates.
This lesson is very important for trainees as they need it in future lessons. In
this lesson, the trainees will first have an overview about the logic gates which
is the base information for Programmable Control Technology. Then the
trainer will explain how a logic gates works ( AND, OR, NOT, NAND, NOR ).
This is vital as it will show them the purpose and how to apply a logic gates.
The trainer will be explain the logic gates (AND, OR, NOT, NAND, NO) , and
how to calculate the outputs form all the gates.

Finally, the student can acquire skills about logic gates by using application
PLC or LOGO.
Before the lesson the trainees should be are able to:
1. Language of numbers system.
2. Types of numbers system.
3. How to calculate the numbers system.
At the end of the lesson the trainees should be are able to:
1. How can use a logic gates . (Cognitive)
2. We Will know the symbol, Boolean algebra, truth table, and electrical-circuit
logic gates.
3. How to calculate the outputs form the gates (AND, OR, NOT, NAND, NOR).
7
2.3 Didactic Analysis:
In this lesson you're going to be introduced to Logic Gates. There are lots of
reasons to learn logic gates. Here are some of those reasons:
Digital logic is the foundation for digital computers. If you want to understand
the innards of computers you need to know digital logic.
Digital logic has relations to other kinds of logic including :
Formal logic gates - as taught by many Electrical Technology departments and
Electronics Technology department.
So, in learning logic gates you learn something that helps you elsewhere.
For many students to learning logic gates is fun and important in our life.
I choose in the lesson 5 methodology :
I start for opening , I welcome the trainees and take the attendance.
I start in the opening classroom conversation, then ask the trainees what is
the language of digital and what are the benefits of the study of logic gates
and why do we use the logic in computer to the trainees answer these
questions. The goal from use classroom conversation. When the trainees
answer the question in this time the trainees are active in the classroom.
After that I start for body, also I use classroom conversation about the video
before it run. And I ask the trainees about the video how many logic gates in
the video and what is the name of logic gates in order to the trainees are
focus when show the video. Then show to the trainees a small video to the
trainees see and listen the video. After that I use the mind map about take
every student a small cart to write any gates to see in the video. The goal from
use the mind map is focus the students when shown the video. Next I use the
lecture I explain about 5 logic gates on the whiteboard about truth table,
Boolean expression, symbol, and electrical circuit to the trainees listen and
discuss with the trainer. The goal from use the lecture gives the trainees all
the information about the logic gates. At this point, also I use classroom
conversation when give the trainees the worksheet about (AND,OR,NOT) logic
gates to the trainees answer the question and write the result on the
whiteboard. The goal from use worksheet to assist in retaining topic
information. Also I use the group work for experiment. I give the trainees the
experiment about some logic gates the trainees connect the experiment on the
test board and I discuss the result with the trainees. The goal from use the to
motivate the trainees to work and the goal from use the experiment in order to
clarification to trainees how to use the logic gates and how they work. After
8
that I use the individual work in the close the lesson. I give the trainees the
quiz about the logic gates. The goal from individual work to ensure that
students’ comprehension of the lesson and ensure that students have reached
the lesson objective.
2.4 Methodology Analysis:
•
Using the whiteboard:
o To explain the logic gates.
o Writing the answer for worksheet.
•
Using the projector:
o To help them to understand how a logic gates works.
o To make the solution of tasks easier.
• Using individual work:
o To motivate the trainees to work.
o To individually think and solve problems.
o To assess the trainees.
• Give them worksheets:
o To assist in solving tasks.
o To assist in retaining topic information.
• Assign Quiz:
o To ensure that students’ comprehension of the lesson.
o To ensure that students have reached the lesson objective.
