Difference Makers… Have Proof!
Life Group Agenda for the week of July 8- July 14
WELCOME (5 min) – Welcome everyone. This is a time for us to focus outward on our relationships with
one another. This week, we are continuing our series titled, “Difference Makers” Let’s stop and pray for our
church at this time.
WORSHIP (15 min) – This is a time for us to focus upward on our relationship with the Lord. Prepare a
creative worship time that can be enjoyed by Children as well as adults/teens (you will be releasing the Children
to their Kids Slot time after the worship).
WORD (45 min) – This is a time for us to focus inward and discover what the Lord is saying to us individually
and collectively through His Word.
OPEN
1. When were you surprised by the results of a “test” that you took, and what surprised you?
READ – 1 JOHN 4:13 – 5:5.

How would many people in the world describe a Christian, and how would you describe a “real Christian?”

What are some of the characteristics of “real Christians” that John gives in our text, and which of those do
you think that you demonstrate well or you struggle with the most?

Who is someone in your life that really demonstrates the Christian characteristics that John identifies in our
text, and what do you particularly notice and appreciate about them?

How would your life and our world be different if all Christians daily demonstrated the characteristics of
“real Christians” that John identifies in our text?

6. What are some tangible ways that our Life Group can help you to develop these “Christian characteristics”
in your life?
PRAY
7. Break into groups of 3-4, and pray for the people that they and you are inviting to our Easter services.
WITNESS (15 min) – This is a time for us to focus outward on our ministry to the world.

VBS is July 16-20. Don’t forget to bring back the items you have purchased for dinners & crafts.

Make Shared Ministry Assignments and then Fellowship together.
(Now is the time to welcome the children back into the group and let them share something about what
they’ve learned. Have a brief time of prayer with the whole group before fellowship).
