For your third spreadsheet assignment, you are to complete Additional Problem 3 –
Creating an Interactive Order Form – The Mustard Hut beginning on page ADD 6.
This case is at the end of Excel section in your spiral bound applications book.
Before beginning this case you should:
1. Create a directory using the naming convention used in previous assignments
(e.g. ss3-LatimerJB).
2. Create this directory so that it is in the root directory of your C drive.
3. You may leave the filenames inside of this directory as given in the assignment
(e.g. Mustard.xlsm).
4. All the assignment files must be in directory you created in step 1
5. Of course your directory name will not have my name in it.
YOU SHOULD PLACE THE STARTING FILES IN A CORRECTLY NAMED
DIRECTORY LOCATED IN THE ROOT DIRECTORY OF THE C: DRIVE (C:\)
BEFORE YOU BEGIN WORKING ON THIS CASE PROBLEM.
ALL FILES CREATED WHILE COMPLETING THE ASSGNMENT SHOULD
ALSO BE IN THIS DIRECTORY.
In order to save paper you are NOT required to generate any printed output for this
assignment. You will only be turning the files associated with this assignment.
You will be turning in a zipped archive of your directory that includes all the files
used to complete this assignment.
The class variance on spreadsheet skills should not be very high. While this is a group
project you can help other groups with questions and suggestions. Each group is required
to create an original solution. If, while completing the assignment you corrupt or lose
part of your solution you are expected to recreate the entire assignment. You are not
allowed to copy any part of a solution created by another group.
Terms of the assignment:
- This is a group project.

The maximum group size is three (3) students.
You will turn a single correctly named zip file containing the following:
o The workbook file(s).
o All associated files.
o Due via email on the assignment due date.
An example of a correctly named group directory would be:
o ss3-BundyAP-JetsonJJ-LatimerJB
o note that the group members must listed in the filename in ascending
alphabetical order by last name.
Your assignment must be created using Microsoft Excel.

Your zip file must be sent to me as an email attachment.
The subject line on the email message must be: ss3 submission
The assignment is due by 11:59pm on Sunday, 04/08.

Standard late penalties will apply.
You are required to retain a copy of all assignments submitted until after the final
grades are posted. It is recommended that you include yourself as CC on the
email message when turning in an assignment and that you keep this message on
your email server. This message will be evidence of when you turned in an
assignment and will also include a backup copy of an assignment.
NOTE that April 8th is Easter Sunday so plan your work
accordingly.
