MIDAS verifying the accuracy and completeness of the item master and vendor master throught
the following steps.

Data Integrity - The descriptions of product items in the Item Master and vendor details in the
Vendor Master, including M & A activity and family hierarchies, are verified for completeness
and accuracy.

Standardization - The product descriptions are checked for consistency. Standard or customer
specific abbreviated descriptions are provided for loading the cleansed data into customer

How the tool works

Patent Suite identifies patent information of compound based on queries received from R&D
division.

It carries out massive search in identified sites about the information of patents. Once the
information is obtained, Patent tool would collate the patent number from different data sources,
merge them and prepare report, to be sent back to R&D division.

Search activity is done automatically by the tool and the information is stored in database. Based
on patent number, system would then generate report of duplicate set of both sites and unique
sets of each site.

Based on patent number the above result would then be compared with RTF document provided
by user. RTF document would be of a standard format.

results.


results manually. System would generate Reports by country wise (US, EP, ROW). User would
download Reports in both rtf and html formats.
