Spend 5 minutes drawing the landscape of
your soul. If it helps you, think of it like a
map of what makes you you.
 Places?
 People?
 Things?
 Colors?
 Symbols?

• Why isn’t Siddhartha sad when Kamala dies?
What comforts him?
• What makes life indestructible?
• Remember that Siddhartha realized that killing himself
would not have destroyed the bird in his chest, his soul.
It was part of something larger than just the shell of his
body.
• He loses Kamala but gains his son.


When an individual’s soul becomes part
of the world’s soul.
Om: Siddhartha’s Nirvana
Understanding that creation, the world, is
an indivisible whole.
 Knowledge of the eternal perfection
(completeness) of the world. Everything is
in order.
 To understand that one must simply love
and enjoy the world in all its aspects,
good and bad.
 Eternal peace with the world

