comedy to ballads, street
to funk, ballet to tap –
learn show numbers from
film, stage and TV to
perform what you’ve learnt
at the end of the week.

include Matilda, Les
Miserables, We Will Rock
You, Wicked, Hairspray
and A Chorus Line.

What wondrous worlds do our
dreams take us to? How do our
imaginations create stories when we
are asleep? Dreamscape will be a
devised piece of drama and dance
exploring dreams and the sub
conscious. A collision of texts will
be used to bring our drama alive.
Using the words of writers such as
Shakespeare, Edgar Allan Poe,
William Blake, Roald Dahl and Carl
Sandburg, the children will devise a
selection of dream sequences.
Dance, drama and music will be used
to create a humorous and
thoughtful piece of drama to
perform on stage in costume and
make-up.
Tutors: Liz Chambers and Leigh
Coleman.
