Scrip credits are entered weekly into your scrip account.
Bookkeeper requests money in family scrip accounts
monthly for any unpaid tuition balance. When your
tuition is paid up, money accumulates in your scrip
account for the next year’s tuition.
If you have a discrepancy between what you believe should be
on a scrip card and the amount the retail clerk tells you is on the
scrip card, make sure you get the card back from the clerk to
verify the card balance yourself by phone or online.
Retailers can tell you the amount, date, time and location your
card was redeemed.
Call the scrip office with the card information if you would like
help with the tracking process.
Errors happen although rare. Most people forget to update the
balance on a partial card.

What is PrestoPay?
 ACH-Transfer from your bank account (Can be either a
checking or a savings account.)
 Convenience fee of .15 per bank transaction offset by the cost
of driving to the parish sites to purchase scrip.
 Multiple scrip retailers can be purchased during one
transaction to minimize add-on cost.
 Allows the ability to use ScripNow and ReloadNow
Why PrestoPay is Safe
PrestoPay uses the same Automated Clearing House (ACH)
process used for billions of transactions every year, including
payroll direct deposit and Social Security. ACH transactions are
regulated by the Federal Reserve Bank and the Electronic Fund
Transfer Act, and must follow rules established by NACHA, the
Electronic Payments Association.
All data entered on our site is transmitted via secure data links,
and account information is encrypted. Furthermore, GLSC has
invested in the latest computer network security protocols, as
defined by the Payment Card Industry (PCI).

completion of bank transactions and activations.
If you plan to use the PrestoPay option please

 Same retailer gift cards you see at all the stores.
 We stock a small variety of commonly used scrip.
 Hundreds more retailers from which to purchase physical scrip
cards are available through shopwithscrip.com.
 Special order physical cards purchased with PrestoPay will be
sent with the next week’s regularly placed order.
 Special order physical cards purchased without PrestoPay will
need to have your physical check in the Darboy Scrip office
before the order can be released for shipping. Your order will
then ship with the next regularly placed weekly order.

Electronic Card with Smart Phone
Some retailers have chosen the option to offer E-cards.
Generally labeled as ScripNow, E-cards have a few form factors
of their own.
With a Smart phone, purchasing and using scrip can be done at
the store. Log into myscripwallet.com, order scrip, have clerk
scan e-card’s barcode displayed on the smart phone’s screen.
Electronic Card without Smart Phone
• No access to a smart phone, use shopwithscrip.com
website to place an order for an E-card.
• Within minutes, you will receive an email with a link to
your E-Card which you can then print and take to the
store. Store clerk scans the barcode for payment.
• Online shopping, enter the payment access code
directly into the retailers website as payment. All from
the comfort of your home (or wherever you and the
computer are located with Internet access.)
Forgot to send a gift, you can send a ScripNow e-card through
the shopwithscrip.com website as an e-mail.

Reloadable Card
Some retailers offer the option to reload your physical scrip card.
These will have the letters RL, for reload, in the total column on our
order form.
Individual retailers choose the following:
• minimum reloadable dollar amount
• dollar increments between the minimum and maximum dollar amount
• maximum reloadable dollar amount
For example:
If the retailer’s minimum reloadable dollar amount is $10 and the maximum
reloadable dollar amount is $500 and it has a $10 dollar increment, you can
order $10, $20, $30, $40….$500.
To enable reloading, register your scrip card at either
shopwithscrip.com or myscripwallet.com.

MyScripWallet can be used to purchase ScripNow for retailers listed on
the order form with a small SN in the total column while you are in the
store.

Home Depot and Lowes both have the ScripNow option so you can fill
your cart with project supplies, estimate your total, place the ScripNow
order and within minutes have a barcoded payment option available to
be scanned by the clerk right on your smart phone.
No need to guess how much a repair or project will run to purchase
ahead of time with the frustration of having too much of a retailer left
over or not enough to cover the entire purchase.
