Lizzy B Designs is pleased to formerly announce the "SJM Red Carpet Experience" Scholarship Program. While the scholarship is in its 4th year the committee previously endowed it to young women without a formal application. Effective January 2015 we opened the opportunity to any high school senior in Western Washington residing within King, Snohomish or Island Counties who meets the criteria below. Our goal is three-fold: 1. To honor the memory of Sandra J. Moses, who was known for her love of evening gowns and charitable work within her church and her community. If there was a need for assistance Mrs. Moses wasted no time lending a hand. We strive to follow her example of supporting young ladies in the community with prom services. 2. To encourage and support hard-working students who would like to attend their prom, but may not attend due to financial hardships. 3. To promote the designs and services of Lizzy B Designs, LLC. Our program offers scholarship opportunities to high school seniors in Western Washington. A single custom gown and coordinating jewelry is provided by Lizzy B Designs, LLC and finishing services will be provided by a preferred Lizzy B Designs Hair and Makeup Artist. Scholarships will be awarded to high school seniors who: 1. Have maintained good disciplinary standing with their high school. 2. Have demonstrated a record of academic success (A lower GPA does not automatically disqualify applicants. See Eligibility Requirements below) 3. Have firm plans to attend prom during the 2015 season. 4. Have successfully completed the application and its components.
