Benefits of using the CLU programmes
– Affordable training solution
– Staff receive the training that they require
– The training is quality assured by ‘Expert Reference Groups’, which are
made up of subject experts from the service. This means that you know
the training that your staff receive is fit for purpose and responsive to any
policy changes
– As everyone receives the same high standard of training, this is therefore
transferable amongst organisations
– Learners can complete their training anywhere, anytime and at their own
pace
Blended approach
– It is important to remember that all the programmes are designed to be
as part of a blended approach to training
– They are designed to provide everyone with the background level of
knowledge they need so that local trainers are free to focus on other
more specialised areas of training
•
Success stories
– The Core Learning Unit programmes have over 70,000 registered users
across the NHS in England since it’s launch in October 2005
•
