Plotting a dangerous plant movie script
Read the list of plant hormone effects and how they are used in
agriculture and horticulture. Then plot out how you would use these
to create a movie plot in which the evil villain uses plant growth to
take over the world, and include how you would solve the problem as
the hero.

How it works
Auxins are used as selective weedkillers. Agent
Orange was used in the Vietnam war. It made
trees lose their leaves, without leaves plants
cannot make food and the trees die
If cuttings are dipped in auxin powder, this
helps the cuttings make new roots. With new
roots the cuttings can anchor in the soil and
take up water and minerals
Auxin can be sptrayed onto fruit trees to
prevent the rip fruit from dropping. Then it can
all be harvested at the same time and the fruit
is not bruised by falling to the ground. If a high
dose of auxin is sprayed later it makes all the
fruit fall
Seeds are usually dormant when they are shed
from the parent plant. This stops them from
germinating at the end of the summer, as the
new plants may not survive the harsh winter.
However, if commercial growers want to
germinate seeds in greenhouses during the
winter, applying auxin can break the dormancy.
