Review and Wrap-up Day
Objectives: Students will be able to correctly define eight out of ten vocabulary
flashcards
Students will be able to give one example of a possessive noun, a compound
word, a plural noun, and a contraction when prompted.
NETS Standards: 5. Digital Citizenship:

Activities:





Teacher will led in review lecture of what possessives, compounds, plurals, and
contractions are.
Teacher will ask students about their projects they have completed thus far and
discuss the examples they have already done
Students will break up into pairs and go to computer lab to review their flashcards
made from the day before (www.studyblue.com)
Students will be asked to go to http://www.spellingcity.com/view-spellinglist.html?listId=11467686&x=107d6 and explore all of the reviews, games, and
lists of words for them to know
Teacher will take students back and ask them to complete worksheet to identify
the different kinds of vocabulary they have gone over.
Deliverables: Review worksheet
Homework: Study, study, study! Use flashcards online, vocabulary lists , and projects
to refer back to
Formative/Summative: Formative- review worksheet
Modifications: Support- students may have flashcards written out with examples on
them to aid in creating examples
