Transcript is a document which lists: – All high school classes – Summer school classes – Number of credits you attempted and completed – Academic GPA – Total GPA – Class ranking – Attendance – Immunizations. Transcript Decoders CP= College Prep CH= College Honors AP= Advance Placement N= Non Academic (Sports, PE) Transcript Decoders 2 GPA= Grade Point Average CRD ATT= Credits Attempted CRS ID= Course Identification Credit Summary REQ= Required CMP= Completed DEF= Deficient Grades and Credits Earning Credits: – You receive 5 credits when you successfully complete a class by earning a 2, 3, or 4. NP: – You receive NO CREDIT. You must REPEAT the class in SUMMER SCHOOL. Grades and Credits Summer School Priority–First Seniors –then Juniors –next Sophomores –Last Freshmen. Coursework- Graduation Requirements 220 Credits to graduate. Pass the CAHSEE Language Arts- 4 years (40 credits) Mathematics- 3 years (30 credits) Science- 2 years (20 credits) Social Science- 3 years (30 credits) Physical Education- 2 years (20 credits) Fine Arts/Foreign Language- 1 year (10 credits) Health- 0.5 year (5 credits) Graduation Requirements 2 Total Requirements= 155 credits Total Electives= 65 credits Total Credits= 220 credits Grade Point Average Academic GPA: Excludes PE/Sports Total GPA: Includes PE/Sports NP’s are worth 0. Honors Point: Add 1 point per class. Advanced Placement: Add 1 point per class.
