Student Registration Details for Computer-Based Test Format • Select the Edit button to edit the student registration to assign accommodations from the available options. Line Reader is available to all students and does not need to be selected Select “Extra Time” to indicate an extended time accommodation Select “Dictated Oral Response “ to indicate scribe 14 Student Registration Details for Computer-Based Test Format Choose “Answer” for Masking choice for Field Test Only select if a student will use foreground and background color options as an accessibility feature under PARCC policy 15 Student Registration Details for Paper and Pencil Test Format 16 Accessibility Features and Accommodations Assigning Accessibility Features and Accommodated Test Forms 17 Read-Aloud Accessibility Feature for Mathematics or Accommodation for ELA/Literacy Assessments Creating a Session for a Read-Aloud Administration • • • 18 A separate test session must be created for a read-aloud session. You may add multiple students to the session, as long as they are all receiving the same readaloud accommodation. These students will all receive the same test form. To assign the read-aloud accommodation, select “Yes” from the drop down for “Read Aloud by Test Examiner” during the create new session step. If the drop down is unavailable (grayed out) then a read-aloud accommodation is not valid for the test to be administered. Proctor Authorization Ticket • For “Read-Aloud” online sessions, a test examiner will need to print a Proctor Authorization ticket to access the text examiner copy of the test. • The Proctor Authorization Ticket will include a user name and password for the test examiner to launch the test for the purpose of reading the test information to the student to provide the read-aloud accommodation. • The text examiner’s test will not be scored. You may add multiple students to the session, as long as they are all receiving the same accommodation. To assign an accommodated form, select the appropriate Form Group Type from the dropdown during the “Create New Session” activity. Large Print Accommodation Ordering Large Print materials There are two ways to order materials for a Large Print Accommodation. 1. During test registration (SDU File upload or student registration) NOTE: The Large Print accommodation and paper test format should be selected. This must be complete by: • January 21, 2014 for PBA • February 28, 2014 for EOY 2.
