While there are nominal limits set on the acceptable values of gifts, gratuities, services, entertainment and the like, a good general rule of thumb is this: Gratuities, gifts or any items of value that are exchanged with the intent, or seemingly with the intent, to influence decisions regarding company business, are prohibited. There are specific and complicated guidelines for U.S. Government employees regarding limits on the value of gifts they may receive. It is best to leave these activities in the hands of ISIS’ authorized Human Resources employees to ensure ISIS abides by all required laws and regulations. Any misuse or misappropriation of finances shall not be tolerated. Costs shall be charged to the appropriate contract or account, no matter the status of the budget. International Business Practices ISIS employees working in foreign countries must comply with the laws, rules and business regulations of those countries.
