BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Harding Township Board of Education only authorizes the drafting of checks from this account in amounts less than $150. The designated person responsible for proper disposition of this fund under N.J.A.C. 6:202A.8 is the School Business Administrator." 3. Re-establish Administration Petty Cash Account RES 000-12/13 "RESOLVED, that according to Policy 3451, the Harding Township Board of Education authorizes the Board Secretary to continue a petty cash fund of $200.00 for use in the administrative offices during 2013-2014. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Harding Township Board of Education only authorizes the drafting of checks from this account in amounts less than $100. The designated person responsible for proper disposition of this fund under N.J.A.C. 6:202A.8 is the Superintendent of Schools." 4. Re-establish Principal's Petty Cash Account RES 000-12/13 "RESOLVED, that the Harding Township Board of Education authorizes the Secretary to continue a petty cash fund of $100.00 for use in the principal's office during 2013-2014. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Harding Township Board of Education only authorizes the drafting of checks from this account in amounts less than $50. The designated person responsible for proper disposition of this fund under N.J.A.C 6:202A.8 is the Harding Township School Principal. 5. Collection and Maintenance of Pupil Records RES 000-12/13 "RESOLVED, that the Harding Township Board of Education authorizes certified school personnel to collect and maintain the following mandated pupil records as per N.J.A.C. 6:3-6.3(a)2: a. Personal data which identifies each pupil enrolled in the school district. This data shall include the pupil's name, address, date of birth, name of parents, citizenship and sex of pupil. May not include religious or political affiliation of pupil and/or parent unless requested to do so in writing by the parent or adult pupil. May not label pupil illegitimate; b. Records of daily attendance; c. Description of pupil progress according to the system of pupil evaluation used in the district; also record grade levels or other program assignments; d. History and status of physical health compiled in accordance with state regulations; include results of physical examination by qualified district employees; e. Approve Special Services Agreement – Brookwood Consulting RES 000-12/13 “RESOLVED, that the Harding Township Board of Education approves a Special Services Agreement with Brookwood Consulting for supervisory special education and other student services for up to five days per week, per diem rate of $575.00, from July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014, pending approval of the agreement by the board attorney. 11. Approve QSAC District Improvement Plan (DIP) RES 000-12/13 “RESOLVED, that the Harding Township Board of Education Harding Township Board of Education 6 June 24, 2013 approves the QSAC District Improvement Plan (DIP) for the 2013-2014 school year.” 12. Appreciation of Faith Winow RES 000-12/13 “WHEREAS, Faith Winow has served the students, parents and staff of Harding Township School for 19 years; and WHEREAS, Faith Winow has been employed from July 1, 1997 through June 30, 2013 as a Confidential Assistant to the Superintendent; and WHEREAS, Faith Winow exemplifies expertise, commitment and professionalism in the performance of her duties; and WHEREAS, Faith Winow has provided notice to the Harding Township Board of Education of her intention to retire from employment effective June 30, 2013; NOW BE IT RESOLVED, that the Harding Township Board of Education recognizes Faith Winow’s decision to retire effective June 30, 2013 and extends to her it’s heartfelt thanks and best wishes for a happy, healthy and enjoyable retirement” B. Approve Tuition Contract for 2013-2014 – Newmark School RES 000-12/13 “RESOLVED, that the Harding Township Board of Education approves the tuition contract with Newmark School, for Student #10040, in the amount of $48,720.60, for 180 days ($270.67 per diem), as indicated in the student’s IEP.” 13. Approve Increase of the Bid Threshold RES 000-12/13 “RESOLVED, that the Harding Township Board of Education in accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-3 (as amended) approves the increase of the bid threshold from $29,000 to $36,000, when a qualified Purchasing Agent is employed, before requiring advertisement for bids.” 14. Award Food Service Management for 2013-2014 RES 000-12/13 “WHEREAS, requests for proposals (RFP) for the operation of the district’s Food Service Management Program for FY 2013-2014 was advertised on May 16, 2013, in the Observer-Tribune; and WHEREAS one response was received by deadline date of June 3, 2013 from Maschio’s Food Service, Inc; and WHEREAS, Maschio’s has successfully run the district’s Food Service Management Program for many years and their proposal satisfactorily meets the proposal specifications; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Harding Township Board of Education awards the Food Service Management Program contract for the 2013-2014 school year to Maschio’s Food Services, Inc. of Chester, NJ, with a Flat Fee Management Fee of $7,426 and a guaranteed minimum profit to the district of $1,000.” 15. Approve Shared Services Agreement – ESC of Morris County RES 000-13/14 “RESOLVED, that the Harding Township Board of Education approves a Shared Services Agreement for the 2013-2014 school year with the Educational Services Commission of Morris County at a cost of $1,940.00. This agreement is in cooperation with Educational Data Services to reduce supply procurement costs for general classroom supplies, and supplies for athletics, custodial, audio visual, art, library, health, physical education, science, and technology” 16. Renewal of Custodial Services Agreement – All Clean Building Services, Inc. RES 000-12/13 “WHEREAS, on July 18, 2011, the Board of Education awarded the bid for cleaning/custodial services to All Clean Building Services, Inc., for the initial period of August 1, 2011 to July 31, 2012; and WHEREAS, the term of the Agreement is for a period of two (2) years from the document signing date of July 27, 2011 with two (2) additional one (1) year renewal periods at the same base annual rate of $88,000 and same hourly rates as stipulated in original agreement; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Harding Township Board of Education approves the continuation of the agreement for the second year of the Agreement from August 1, 2012 to July 31, 2013; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of Education approves the first renewal of the Agreement from August 1, 2013 to July 31, 2014 with terms and costs as stipulated in the original Agreement.” C.
