This release is intended to discharge in advance the Rotary, its officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability arising out of or connected in any way with my participation in said activity, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of Rotary, its officers, employees, and agents. It is understood that this activity involves an element of risk and danger of accidents and knowing those risks, I hereby assume those risks. It is further agreed that this waiver, release, and assumption of risk is to be binding on my heirs and assigns. I agree to indemnify and to hold the Rotary, its officers, employees, and agents free and harmless from any loss, liability, damage, cost, or expense which they may incur as the result of death or any injury or property damage that said participant may sustain while participating in said activity. I also understand that the seller fee is non-refundable. I understand this is an outdoor show and the Rotary will not accept any responsibility for goods damaged due to inclement weather, fire, or other natural disaster. The sellers must make their own decision to set up or not set up their display. No refunds will be made for ANY reason. MARIPOSA YOSEMITE ROTARY CLUB 12TH ANNUAL ART & WINE FESTIVAL The Festival will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2016, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Mariposa County Courthouse Lawn, Mariposa, CA. The show will bring art & wine together in a beautiful outdoor setting. To participate in this show, please follow these instructions: 1. All items being sold MUST be handmade in the United States of America and sold by the artist. No imports and no commercial products are allowed in this show. 2. Spaces will be assigned for booth variety and interspersed with the wineries. You will be assigned a space of approximately 10 feet by 10 feet and you will need to provide your own tables, display racks, chairs, and shade canopy. Tents and canopies must be flame retardant. You must transport all items from the street. 3. The early registration fee for Artists is $50.00 and must be received by April 30, 2016. All entry applications received after April 30, 2016, will be subject to an additional $ 25.00 charge. No commission will be charged on your sales. The registration fee is non-refundable. Participants should remember this is an outdoor event and will be subject to inclement weather (rain, wind, etc.). The Rotary Club will close the show only under extreme weather conditions. The seller should be aware that the Rotary Club will not accept any responsibility for goods damaged due to inclement weather or any other reason. Sellers must make their own decisions to set up or not to set up their display. No rain date has been considered. Artists wishing to insure work should contact their private insurance agent. 4. Complete the attached application form and mail it with your check or money order as soon as possible. Space is limited. Accepted applicants will receive information by email about ONE WEEK PRIOR TO THE SHOW with booth assignments, maps, parking instructions, and last minute details. 5. The Event Coordinator reserves the right to exclude any vendor for any reason on the day of the event. Thank you for your participation!
