There will be no library this week. Students will have time to finish their literary analysis writing assignment in class today. Students are working on summarizing plot, analyzing theme, and comparing the book to the movie. Wednesday: Students will take a vocabulary quiz on the 25 words learned this quarter. The quiz will include multiple choice questions, matching, drawing, and writing sentences. Students will begin to revise and edit their literary analyses. Thursday: We have a lot due today! Students will peer edit and then turn in their literary analyses. Students will turn in their TAGDRs for the quarter and finish any AR tests. Students will have 2 days to write and rehearse their skit, with final presentations occurring on Wednesday. As Thursday is the last day of class, we will celebrate by learning to dance "la bachata" to a Spanish song by Prince Royce.
