The following document is a course syllabus for the fifth unit, The Great Depression & New Deal. You will
be expected to follow along with the readings listed and meet the deadline of all assignments.
All assignments MUST be completed in advance of the day that they are listed. Text readings are to be
completed on your own. While they are not the sole source of course information they will complement your
classroom notes and lectures and can be used in the event of an absence from class.
This syllabus is subject to change throughout the unit. Make sure to keep it with you and bring it to class each
day. I DO NOT KEEP A HARD COPY IN THE CLASSROOM SO PRINT IT OUT IF YOU WOULD
LIKE ONE.
