Po was born in a remote farming village populated entirely by giant pandas. There, he grew up happily with
his biological mother and father. But one day, the village was invaded by an evil, power-hungry peacock
named Shen, who sought to avert a prophecy by eliminating any threat to his rule. As his wolf followers
slaughtered the pandas and destroyed the village, Po's mother fled with her son in attempt to save him,
while his father stayed behind to try and fight them off. As the wolves quickly started to close in on her, Po's
mother managed to temporarily elude the wolves and found a crate of radishes which she hid her child in.
Mother and son shared one final moment of farewell, and then Po began to cry as he watched his mother
catch the attention of the wolves and lead them away from him, presumably sacrificing her life for her son.

The crate was eventually shipped across China to a village in the Valley of Peace, where the owner of a
noodle shop, Mr. Ping, found the baby panda. Placing the infant in his care and eventually realizing that no
one was looking for the panda, Mr. Ping decided to raise him as his son, giving him the name Xiao Po.

Po is now fighting alongside the Furious Five.
He has to confront his past when Lord Shen serves as a threat to Kung Fu and tries to conquer all of China.
Po is summoned to the Dragon Grotto where Shifu is practicing Oogway's last teaching.
Tigress then arrives with news that the Musician Village is under attack.
As Po and the Furious Five attack the Wolf Boss and his pack, they managed to save the metal from the
wolves until Po got hit by the Wolf Boss' hammer.
This is when Po saw the mark on Wolf Boss' shoulder armor and sees a vision of his mother.
Po then went to Mr. Ping and asked him where he came from. Mr. Ping shows him an empty box of
radishes and explains that was where he found Po. After Mr. Ping tells him the story, Po still had a lot of
questions for his dad.
One day, Shifu receives a message that Master Thundering Rhino was dead.
Po and the Furious Five sets off to go to Gongmen City.
As they go across a river in a small boat, Po has a dream that his parents were there and that they
replaced him with a radish.
Po wakes up and goes outside the boat and tries to do inner peace, but droplets of water keep falling on his
head, keeping him from concentration. Po then finds Tigress on top of the boat.
When they arrive at Gongmen City, they find wolves around, harassing the citizens. Po then makes a plan
to go inside a dragon costume and finds a sheep, who told him that Master Storming Ox and Croc were
kept inside the Gongmen Jail.
Then when they find Gongmen Jail, Po and the Furious Five burst the cage open, but they don't come with
them and stays in the cell. Po tries to get the two masters out of the cell, but fails.
Wolf Boss flees and Po tries to catch him, ending up in front of Shen's Palace. All of Wolf Boss' wolves
surround them.
Po then tells them that they surrender so that they can be taken to Lord Shen.
As they were taken up to Lord Shen, Po finds a small figurine of the weapon, thinking that it was really the
weapon and destroys it. Then Lord Shen reveals the actual weapon and gets ready to fire it at them, when
Mantis (the "Mantis" inside the cage was one of Po's action figures), attacks the Wolf Boss, while Viper
unlocks Tigress' cuffs, freeing them.
Po then attacks Lord Shen and the Furious Five destroy the weapon. When Po had the chance to defeat
Shen, he then realizes that he saw him when he was a baby, knowing that he knew about Po's past.
Shen escapes and the masters find that there were more cannons were being produced. Seeing that they
were trapped inside the Palace, their only way out is up.
As Po and the Furious Five reach the top of the Palace, they jump and evade the fire arrows being shot at
them.
They come back to Gongmen Jail, where Master Storming Ox and Master Croc was still staying in the cell.
Tigress decides to leave him there and asks him why he stopped himself from taking down Shen.
Po refuses to tell her and tries to get out of Gongmen Jail, but Tigress stops him from doing so.
Then Po finally tells her that he saw Lord Shen in his past and he wants to ask him about what happened
while he was there.
Shen eventually told him that his parents didn't abandon him and that they didn't love him. Then he reveals
the one of his largest cannon and shoots Po.
Po is then flung into a river, where the Soothsayer saved him and heals him.
Po looks around at where he is and the Soothsayer tells him that this place was where he was born.
Po, at first, didn't believe her. Then he starts to have visions of Shen and his wolf army to attack the
pandas. He then lets his mind flow by doing the one of Oogway's final teachings, letting the story of his past
go through his mind. Po then comes back to Gongmen City, finally knowing who he really was, just to see
the Furious Five tied up in chains. Shen notices the panda and orders his wolf army to fire the weapon at
him.
But Po made it on the boat and attacks Shen's wolf army, thus freeing the Furious Five. During the battle,
Master Storming Ox and Master Croc join in, along with Shifu.
Then when Po was being fired at, Tigress pushes him away and she gets hit. All of the Kung Fu warriors
set themselves on pieces of the boat, tired.
Po then swam to a sunken boat, where Shen fires him once more. Po, who was concentrating in inner
peace, evades the attack and throws it into the river.
Shen orders to fire him again, but Po kept on evading till he throws the attack at Shen, destroying the boat.
Po finds Shen, and tells him that he has to leave his past behind. Shen didn't care and attacks Po, but ends
up killed.
All of the villagers cheer for Po, ending Lord Shen's plan to take over China.
Po comes back to Mr. Ping, who missed his son very much, with boxes of radishes, telling him that he
found the place where he was born. Then in the end, Po's Father is shown with the other pandas, showing
that some of the pandas might have survived.[4]
