Put your words in alphabetical order and choose 5 words and look them up in the dictionary. This term as part of our work in the environment team we will be planting seeds in plastic soft drink bottles. If you have any 1.25 litre plastic soft drink bottles that you can bring into school, that would be very helpful. These will be stuck into your writer’s notebook at school. Some items that you might find are: movie tickets, brochures, photos, postcards etc READING – INDEPENDENT TASK Think about your favourite book character. In your home learning book complete an open – minded portrait for that particular character. Try and think about the character feelings and motives in the story that you have read. Parent signature: READING Read a book from home each night for at least 20 minutes. Read a section of your book aloud, to practise your fluency and expression.
