Schedule for Discussion Leaders: I was not able to accommodate everyone’s requested dates unfortunately (and if you missed class on Monday Feb 3 then you’ve been assigned a date). Please note, these dates cannot be changed! There are some dates on which two students are presenting—in some of those cases I’ve divided the reading between the two students and in some cases, where the reading is not as clearly divisible, I haven’t done so. In both cases it is up to you how to proceed. If you would like to ‘team teach’ the material for a half hour you are welcome to do so. In this case you would need to meet beforehand and plan, and make sure each of you have a relatively equal voice in the discussion. The other option is to lead the discussion separately and each for 15 minutes—this is possible even if you’re both assigned the same reading. There is a lot to say about all of these works, and don’t worry if overlap occurs.
