About Me:
Skin: I protect internal organs and everything inside of me. I am the largest organ
system in the body.
Hair: With my hair, I am able to prevent UV rays from harming my skin. I keep my
body warm by catching warm air on the surface of my skin.
Nails: I protect the end of my fingers and help lift and grip small objects!

This diagram breaks down the skin from the outside of
the skin to the bottom. The top of the skin is covered
with hair and also separates the levels of skin from the
epidermis to the dermis.
The skin is a key part of the Integumentary System
and in this picture the man has ripped off all of him
skin. It shows how important the skin is to key all the
internal organ and muscles protected.
In this image is a specific diagram of a hair follicle.
The follicle is located in the dermis including glands.
The epidermis contains the hair on the surface of the
skin. Hair is utilized to protect the skin.
This diagram shows both the external and internal of a
finger. The external shows the nail and skin working
together to form each finger.
This is a picture of various cancers found on the skin.
It is a very common type of cancer. As seen in this
picture, there are different forms.
