OPENING
CEREMONY OF THE 2015
JULY 27th,
REVERENDS’ MANAGEMENT COURSE @ EPC OBI.
On behalf of the staff and management we express our
heart gratitude to God for allowed us to see yet another
occasion like this. You are all welcome and may the peace
of God which passed all understanding over flow your
hearts with joy. The theme for this year is a “That I may
know Him and the power of His resurrection… ”
(Philippians 3: 10) as this is timely with the situation we are
passing in our World of today. If the World would know
Christ then the problems in life would have been over
Knowing Christ is salvation, knowing Christ is peace, to
know Christ is comfort, knowing Christ is hope for He is
the author and finisher of our faith. .
Participants on the management course will learn the
following:
(a) Counseling
(b) Book study (Philippians)
(c) Public Complain Commission,
(d)The Police and nation building,
(e) General Church Management,
(f) Christian Muslim Relations,
(g)Financial management,
(h) Care of the eyes.
These courses will last for ten working days including the
graduation and this demand high level of commitment as
regards to attendance, contribution and all that is
necessary for the training. If this does not take place, then
the aim for the training is not achieved. I wish in this
management course you will come to know the Lord more
in your life so that in all situations we will not derail from
the faith. Guide yourself better by this acronym in
PHILIPPIANS 3:10
Trust Jesus Christ
Have Him as your Saviour
Accept His way of salvation
Take the message to other nations
I am saved, praised the Lord!
Make me an ambassador oh Lord
All knees must bow to Him
Your dominion has no end
Keep follow the Lord Jesus Christ
Never get weary
Over the trials and temptations
Walk on His path
Hold unto the Truth in Jesus Christ
In all the days of your life
May He only be your Saviour
Always seek to know more of His grace
Never give the devil a chance in your life
Do all to please the Lord your Master
Though you may be alone
Have Him beside your situation
Ever remember He is the Lord of Lords
Pray to God through Him
Only Jesus is the Saviour of the world (one mediator)
Watch out for His second coming
Everything you do, seek for His face
Rest only on His power of resurrection
Open the door of your heart to let Him in
Follow Him wherever He leads you
His name is above all other names
In Him all things are created
Souls are perishing make that your agenda
Revival takes place in knowing Christ
Establish yourself in the knowledge of Christ Jesus
Surrender yourself to God through Christ
Unite yourself in the Church of God through Christ
Receive Christ
Reject the world
Eternal life awaits you
Continue serving Him
To the rest of your life, live to His glory
In God, He reconciled the world
Obey Him
Never, never, never cease to know Christ Jesus and the
power of His Resurrection.

CLOSING CEREMONY OF REVERENDS’ MANAGEMENT
COURSE 7TH AUGUST, 2015.
Brethren in the Lord Jesus Christ, I bring to you greetings on
behalf of the entire community of the college. God must be
honoured, we appreciate Him for all he has been doing in our
lives and for the success of the 2015 Reverends’ Management
Course. The theme for this year has reflected on “That I may
know Him and His power of Resurrection (Philippians 3:10)
and the participants have discovered the need to know more
about Christ Jesus.
Participants were drawn from out the ten conferences across
the Church and from different parts of the country namely;
Nasarawa State, Bunue state, Plateau state, Kaduna state,
Niger state and FCT Abuja. There are forty Nine participants
graduating out of total number of seventy four participants.
The following courses were taught

 Book Study (Philippians)
 The Police and Nation Building
 Christian Muslim Relations (Boko
Muslims’Ummah)
 Financial Management
 General Church Administration
 Care of the Eyes

I charge you therefore the participants to make good use of
what you have learnt. How much have you know of Jesus and
His power in your life?
If the World knows darkness, show them the light of Jesus.
If the World knows hatred, show them the love of Jesus.
If the World displays miracles, have faith in Jesus.
If the World engages in crisis, preach to them the peace of
Jesus.
If the world is hopeless, have hope in Jesus.
If the world is corrupt, you do the right thing in hobour of God.
If the World cheats, you should do justice, one thing is sure you
cannot change the world if you are not different from the world.
Do not subscribe to this bad slogan “if you cannot beat them
join them” but you should have it this way, if you cannot beat
them do not join their bad habits.
