Concurrent Enrollment Courses
Getting College Credit for classes
taught at RCHS (or any DCSD High
School)
ACC/CCA/RRCC-DCSD Agreement

December 2008 - DCSD and
ACC/CCA/RRCC entered a partnership
where they offer college credit to students for

courses.
Benefits to Student/Parent

Testing and Application Help at
RCHS

Accuplacer Testing – mainly done at
RCHS

9th – 11th graders must take the
Accuplacer test. 12th graders will use
ACT score.
Why take Concurrent Enrollment?

Student is not taking AP courses

Offered in area that student has “passion” for

Adds “rigor” to their course load

Creates a college transcript/college credit
Deadlines are Important
This is a FANTASTIC opportunity but student
must complete the entire process, OR:
1) They will not get college credit
2) There may be a cost to you for not filling
out the COF (College Opportunity Fund)
If you have further questions,
please contact the RCHS
Counseling Office.
If you do not attend RCHS and
would like to visit one of our
programs, please contact the
instructor to set up that visit.
