SMALL GROUP PROJECT

You and your small group (2-4 maximum) are going to create a mosaic of ideas, quotes, thoughts, etc. about the play

MACBETH.

1) Your mosaic will contain at least 28 tiles.

2) Each tile MUST be created WITHOUT the use of the computer.

3) Each Tile MUST be Labeled & Placed In

Order.

In addition, each tile MUST be of “Poster” quality to hang on the wall.

Each tile MUST be in color.

(You will also have an option for 4 bonus

tiles, you will get to choose what goes on the tile that has something to do with the play MACBETH.)

1) Title Of The Play – Title, Author, & Some Type Of

Graphic.

2) Picture Of Setting – Detailed Picture Of Where

The Story Takes Place Or A Scene Takes Place.

3) Vocabulary Word – A Word That Is Not

Commonly Used, Its’ Definition, & Parts Of Speech.

4) Quote – A Shakespearean quote or line from the play MACBETH that has significant meaning, American

English translation Of The Quote & Line, & Why this quote is significant or important.

5) Statement Of Conflict – Line Or Quote From

MACBETH That Demonstrates Conflict (conflict with another character, obstacle, event), & Explanation Of

The Conflict

6) Symbol – An Image Of The Symbol & Its Meaning

In The Play

7) Dramatic Irony – An Explanation Of Something The

Audience Knows BUT The Characters DO NOT.

8) Statement Of Theme – The Main OR Central Idea

Of The Play.

9) Irony Of A Situation – An Example Of Something

That Happens That Defies Our Expectations.
