instruction. If you miss a day, you DON’T miss a lot. Always check here when you are
absent.
 Click on Helpful websites and click on “Edmodo
o If you already have an account, log-in and add the Spanish IB IV group. If not,
create an account using the Spanish IV group code.

You will come back to this site to blog later 
 Go back to “Helpful websites” on the blog and select “Practice Verb Conjugation” Select
“Present Tense All”. Practice for 5 minutes.
 Go back to Helpful Websites and click on “Practice Unit vocabulary” Scroll down to
Realidades 3 Chapter 1
o Select “New Interactive Flashcards” – Flash a few (You can go back to any chapter
levels 1-3 to review vocabulary 
 Go back to “Helpful Websites” and select “On-line” dictionary. Look up a new verb,
adjective, and noun in Spanish.
o Look for the letters v/vt for verb, adj for adjective and nm/nf for noun. Please
use this and NOT google translate or other on-line translators
for your work.
 Go back to “Helpful Websites” and select “Grammar Guides”
o Select a unit on the left, read through the grammar guide and
then take the basic or mini-quiz underneath the unit.
 Go back to “Helpful Websites” and select “Listening
Activities” – select level intermediate, a topic of your choice,
and try one out.
o Learn new vocabulary in blue by selecting vocabulary
on the left/ after the video select the vocabulary
quiz on the left to see what you learned.
o Take the quiz when you are done by selecting video quiz
 Go back to “Helpful Websites” and select “The conjugation
Machine”, type in hacer and see what happens…this might be a
useful tool when writing at home 
 Go back to “Helpful Websites” and select “Reading Activities”
o Select “Library” choose an article in the intermedio
category that looks interesting to you.
o Click on the play button. What happens?
o Hover over an underlined word. What do you see?
 Go back to “Helpful Websites” and select “Edmodo” – You are ready to BLOG now
Edmodo- Where you will link projects and communicate with classmates in the target
language.
Blogging
You will be assigned to a GROUP. This is where you will write blogs, upload
files, attach links and submit your Weekly Aventura Project
How to post:

Click on your group, and look to see that the colored square in the top left
corner says your group name on it.

Posts and blogs should be in the target language (i.e.SPANISH) unless
otherwise noted.

Type your message or blog into the text box.
NOTE: all initial message will be sent to the
whole group. Make sure the message is being
sent to your group and not to the Spanish IV
page.

You can: (1) add files, (2) link websites, or (3) add items to your virtual
backpack.


Replying: Click the reply button and type your
message into the textbox. If you want to reply to
a specific person’s post type @theirname and then
write your response.

Delete or Edit a post: Hover your mouse over the top right corner of your initial post until you
see the tool key. It looks like a sunshine. You will see the option then to delete, edit or link
the post.

Return to the group page and start
chatting: The topic has already been
set. You may ask and answer questions
now. Below are codes to help you with the accents.
