PURPOSE
to inform, encourage, and
assist A.C. Jones students to
enroll in dual credit courses
at Coastal Bend College.
Benefits of Dual Credit
Free tuition for students living in Bee County.
Some courses may require payment of fees, books,
and supplies. Reduced tuition for Non-Bee County
residents.
Student earns credit for both high school diploma
and college degree/certificate.
Early completion of college degree.
If workforce program certificate is completed,
student is ready for employment after high school
graduation.
Challenging and rewarding coursework.
What’s the cost?
Bee County residents receive free tuition.
However there may be course fees which
are not free. Students may also have to
purchase books.
 Students that do not reside in Bee
County pay a reduced tuition rate of
$30/hour and semester registration fee of
$45.

