Highlights for 2014:
•Sining ay Buhay, Buhay ang Sining- Most
prominent regional cultural groups with special
participation of the traditional masters and the
indigenous children in each site: Lanao Del
Norte, Siquijor, Sorsogon, Davao Del Sur, Davao
Del Norte, Gen. Santos City, Cotobato,
Maguindanao, Koronadal City, Saranggani,
Sultan Kudarat, Cagayan de Oro City, Tagum
City, Batangas City, Baguio City, and Bulacan.
CCP Grantees from Iligan City, Marawi City, Gen.
Santos City, South Cotobato, Dumaguete City,
and Sorsogon.
Total Audience: 21,138
•Badong: Salvador Bernal designs the stage:
National Exhibit tour- Sites Pangasinan, Ilocos
Norte, Lipa City, Batangas City, Iligan City,
Cagayan de Oro City, Tagum City, Davao del
Norte, Baguio City, and Bulacan with workshops
on stage design.

•CCP Aklatang Bayan Launch- The CCP Launch
its Aklatang Bayan at gawad Kalinga Paradise
Heights in Smokey Mountain, Tondo named the
CCP_JCI Manila Learning Center. Partner
institutions were the Junior Chamber
International (JCI) Manila, Rex Publishing, Asia
Foundation, National Commission for Culture
and the Arts and the Embasssy of the United
States of America.

•Kaisa Sa Sining-establishment of CCP’s active
regional-satellite partners in at least three (3)
educational institutions or NGO’s or LGU’s per
region by formalizing its cooperation as the
CCP’s Regional Art Centers (RAC) and/or
University Art Associates (UAA) thru a ThreeYear Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

Association- Culture and the Arts Region X
(ASEACA).
•Mabuhay Philippines- a cultural awareness and
arts appreciation program for Overseas Filipino
Workers (OFWs) aimed at promoting positive
values, advocating love, respect and pride for
the Filipino identity and culture through socially
relevant and high impact artistic productions.
This year, the world-renowned Philippine
Madrigal Singers performed in Hong Kong and
Singapore.

Highlights for 2014:
Sining Galing Arts Therapy Workshops for
Yolanda survivors- Participants were 80
teachers- Tacloban; 75 teachers-Catbalogan
City (Marabut and Basey Samar); Marabut-600
elementary students . Relief goods and shoes
were also distributed to the survivors. In
cooperation with DepEd officials.
Sining sa Eskwela-aims to provide training of
all art forms to teachers who are handling art
courses both in elementary and high school
levels.
Beneficiaries: 126 highschool teachersCatbalogan City, Samar; and 120 elementary
teachers-Tiagon, Camarines Sur.
Advanced Special Program for the Arts
teachers all over the country with special
plenary sessions on creative industry, film
literary, intellectual property rights, K-12
updates.
•Arts Educators Forum- arts educators forum
with government and private arts agencies.
•Workshops- music, dance, directing, theater,
sound, strategic planning, arts therapy, arts
management training, hands-on choral
workshop etc.
