Today’s Objective: The students will analyze and respond to an anecdote, and then the students will write an anecdote based on their family history project interview. Activity 1 (20 mins): Quiz on Bread Givers chapters 2-5. Activity 2 (10 mins): Review Bread Givers Activity 3 (10 mins): Brainstorming for the click poem for the Family History Project. Show examples. Followed by a 2minute free write based on family photo. (graphic organizer handout) Activity 4 (25 mins): Writing Workshop – write a rough draft of the click poem for the Family History Project.
