The Committee ratified the decision of the Chair to approve the following amendment to a previously approved application: Cf. 10/11.3.5.6 (School of Health & Social Care): TITLE OF RESEARCH: Aggression in dating relationships Variations to survey media; increase in sample size; additional researcher. iii. The Committee noted that a cohort study “Up to the Job” examining the career intentions of Greenwich law degree students, funded by the Higher Education Academy and to be conducted by _____________________ of the University of Portsmouth, acting through Hardee Consulting, had received ethics approval from the University of Portsmouth. The study would be reviewed and monitored by the School of Humanities & Social Sciences Ethics Committee. 5 SCHOOL REC ANNUAL REPORTS 12.29 12.1.7 Members were reminded that detailed annual reports from each School on the activities of their School ethics committee would be required for the next meeting. AUTHORISATION OF APPLICATIONS 12.30 12.1.8 The Committee requested that a reminder email be sent to Deans to advise them that application should be reviewed by the School representative before being submitted and signed off.
